OK, this is going to be a long post because a lot of things have been happening in my young life...
Here I am working on my blog... not a bad set up!
The day after Thanksgiving we went to our friends and neighbors, Ross, Justin and Ashley's house to make Christmas ornaments. Ross, invited all of the neighborhood kids over to make their very own and we got to take them home. Mommy helped me, OK, she did all of the work, but it was fun.
Here is one of the ornaments that we made.
Here is a picture of Me and Daddy hanging my 2nd Christmas ornament up on the tree.
Here is what it looks like up close. Had to go with the Basketball playing polar bears this year.
Here is our tree all lit up. "Ooooh Pretty".
Daddy has been teaching me to say that when I see the lights. It is so fun to say!
What? Are you talking to me?
I have decided that talking on the phone is way to fun.
If mom and dad can do it, SO CAN I!!!
We had a big snow fall and Daddy worked from home, he let me sit on his lap and see what he was doing. I had so much fun learning all about codes and other computer stuff...
In my stay puff marshmallow winter coat and mittens, I don't get around very well. But here are some shots of me playing in my first snow fall. It was Burrrr Cold!
Tasty!
So Fun. Now lets go inside and get warm.
This one is for Aunt Erynn and Uncle Doug. For my birthday they got me this Awesome motorized tractor. It has lights and a horn that beeps. The front loader tips so you can scoop and dump things out of it. It is so much fun. I love the hazard lights that tick/tock back and forth.
I am also wearing the CWRU t-shirt they got me from Cleveland. I will wear it with pride.
It has been a while since I have blogged. I have been sick. Last week I developed a cold, which then on Thursday turned into a cough, which worsened on Friday to full blown croup, which landed me in the ER Saturday morning at midnight. The Drs and Nurses were so nice at the ER. They took my temperature which was 102.6 and my heart rate was over 200 beats per minute, I guess that it should be somewhere between 90-120. They then got me right back and started me on a cool mist inhaler. That didn't seem to be working so well so they spiked it with a steroid, they then gave me an oral steroid and another inhaled steroid treatment. That did the trick. I was still coughing, but at least I could breath easier. We left the ER at 4:30am and I got to snuggle in bed with mom and dad the rest of the day. Sunday, I started to get worse again, so Monday I went to see Dr. Bentley. He put me on an oral steroid twice a day and I am SOOOOO much better now. Daddy says that I should start pumping some iron to take full advantage of my steroid treatments. He is so funny.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Very Happy New Year!!
Talk to you all next year.
Love, Ashton
