Sick Sick Sick

Our house has become a house of germs... YUCK!

The day after I turned 2 months old, Ashton came down with croup.  He sounded so horrible.  The funny thing was that at my Dr. appointment (the day before), Mommy and Dr. Bentley were talking about how we had all dodged a bullet and that no one had been sick all winter... Mommy said yep, knock on wood we will stay that way.  Well, someone let the germs in when they knocked and it has been a bumpy two weeks.

Daddy took Ashton to the Kids Care and they had to give him some steroids to fell better.  They worked like a charm and he was back to his usual self a day later.

But my Cough didn't go completely away and no matter how hard Mommy tried to keep me from coughing all over Landon, I guess I didn't do such a good. Job.  Cause he started to cough too.  His cough was different than my croupy cough.  Bummer!

Then, during the day I would be fine, but one night I woke up crying and the next night I woke up and told mommy and daddy that my ear hurt.  The next morning (another Saturday) they took us both to the Kids Care.  Ashton had a double ear infection, but wasn't running a temperature or didn't complain of the pain during the day.  What a champion!

And, Landon has RSV.  Luckily he isn't running a temperature either and his lungs are pretty clear.  He just keeps coughing really badly, which causes him to choke, and then he throws up all over everything, usually Mommy!

So for now we are in exile from the outside world.  Mommy and Daddy are trying to disinfect everything in the hopes that we don't share the germs again.  We hope that it works!  Being sick is the pits.

2 Months Old

I made it to 2 months which have just flown by...
This posting is a bit late, because we have been sick sick sick in our family.

At my Dr. Appointment I weighed in at
13.7 lbs in the 87%
and measured a whopping 25 inches in the 98%
Daddy is very happy about that last stat... he now has his power forward to go along with his point guard!

I love to smile and coo. I can talk to Mommy, Daddy and Ashton for hours.

I sleep like a champion and wake up happy as can be.

My acid reflux has seems to improve. I don't have to take the Reglan 4 times a day anymore, but still take the Prevacid twice a day.  I have almost rolled over from my back to my tummy a few times, but I don't really love tummy time, so I need to work on that.  I love to play under my rain forest and swat at the toys that dangle below.  Most importantly I  have kept all my hair!

Ashton took these pictures of me. Not bad for a two year old!

Here I am posing for my official two month pictures... Not really in the mood, just got stuck in the legs 4 times with needles.  Mom, could we please do this another time??

OK, I will cooperate for now!

That is really the best that I can do.

Seriously Mom, another time please.  We are so not in the mood.

So handsome!  Could I be any cuter?

Finally all done for today.

These were taken the day after I turned two months old.  I had such a better attitude.
My happy self had returned.

I love to stick out my tongue.  Pretty cool huh!

Mommy and Her Boys

So mommy always sings to and rocks Ashton before bedtime.
Ashton invited me to hang out one night with them.

There is nothing better than a Mommy and her boys!

Here is a picture of Ashton giving me a big brother kiss.   He is so much fun to be around.  I have so much to learn from him.  Thanks big bro for being my best buddy!

Our New Office...

So when Landon came to join our family Daddy lost his office, so Mommy and Daddy decided that it was time to create a room where little people wouldn't be allowed. So they converted the front family room into a formal office.  The arch was knocked out and a nice man came and installed the french doors.

If you look really hard you can see me looking in the window wishing that I could come in.  They even put locks on the doors.  What do they think we are going to do in there?

A few more views of Mommy and Daddy's quiet room.  I am pretty sure that we will figure out a way to take over.  Landon hurry up and get bigger so that we can start planning our take over!

You stuck what up your nose????

So lately I have found that life is way more exciting if I am doing things to keep mommy and daddy on their toes.  Here are some of the things that I have been doing to keep them both a little grayer...

Mom I swear there isn't anything in my ear!

 No my eyes are great.

Oh that... well you see I know that you say not to put anything smaller than your elbow in your ear, but look how nicely a raisin fits.

I then a few days later decided that sticking half of a peanut up my nose would be a blast.  Needless to say, it got stuck.  We tried blowing it out, but it just made a really cool whistling noise.  So mommy had to get a pair of tweezers and fish it out.  YUMMMMM!

I am totally innocent of whatever you think I did....

I haven't learned to climb out of my crib yet, but I think that I am getting really close.

Nope not me, promise!

Please show me how to get out of this thing by myself!

Come on!

So, I have shown some interest in potty training so mommy has been all over it.  What she doesn't know is that I think that it is more fun to wear these things on my head then where they really belong.  No one can see that Woody and Buzz are on them if I hid them under my jeans.

Lunch Time Conversation....

Yesterday Mommy and I were having a talk during lunch... this is how it went down.

Ashton: Mommy this mac and cheese is making me happy.
Mommy: Ashton, I am so glad that it is making you happy.
Ashton: Mommy is your soup making you happy?
Mommy: Yes Ashton it is.
Mommy: Ashton are you done?
Ashton: No mommy, my mac and cheese is still making me happy!

Heres to many more happy lunches. I hope your lunch is making you happy, if not find something to eat that does!
